Project Spectra was a one-day, intensive filmmaking workshop designed for girls aged 12–15 at the Nima Cluster of Schools. The workshop introduced participants to the art of storytelling, the basics of filmmaking, and the power of visual expression using accessible tools such as smartphones and laptops. The aim was to create a space where girls see themselves as makers and not just viewers of film as an art form.
The official launch of Dear Legachi took place on February 8, 2025. This successful event began with a warm welcome address, followed by captivating poetry performances. Guests were then formally introduced to Dear Legachi, including its meaning and the story behind its inception. The event continued with an introduction of our valued partners and team members, culminating in a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony alongside them. The evening concluded with a snack break and more inspiring poetry, marking the official beginning of Dear Legachi.
