I've written thirty books, these are the one's I believe are most representative of what I wanted to say when I set out as a creative. I add a personal comment on each book after the description. I confess it definitely wasn't my idea to put out this anthology of my poetic 'story-so-far' back in 2018. Although over the years, 247 Poems has become a firm personal favourite of mine to perform from!

My name became synonymous with dowsing longer ago that I care to remember. I'd written four individual books on dowsing and came up with this idea to put them all together into one omnibus. We take walks in Blackpool and stand alongside the poet as he performs his tales that rhyme sometimes, across the Red Rose County.
Blackpool was the first place I took Mila when we got together. She's Croatian, and had never experienced anything like this town. She fell in love with Blackpool and enjoys often visiting, and especially browsing the crazy trinket shops. Mila says, although she adores the town, she wouldn't ever want to live there, it is too busy with tourists!

As a long-time advocate of the power of words to shape our reality, Dean feels his role as a poet is to mainly get out of his own way and allow the words to flow through him from his higher self or source.
On the one hand this could be perceived as ethereal poetry yet there is real substance and depth here. Talks of universal love, kindness, having an open heart chakra and being authentic to inner ourselves firstly and foremost.
The pagan festival featured on the cover is when Mila asked asked if I would still fancy her without long hair. She buzzed it off in our tent, I immediately left Mila in no doubt I fancied her all the more, and just before the cover photo got taken, hence the name of the book.
In the media driven world we all live in, it's all to easy to lose a sense of who we are and what really matters. Reconnecting to our inner self, life takes on new meaning, where health and happiness are more easily ours.
What this entire process aims to do is place your future directly into your own hands, then any changes are measured and intentionally calculated…by YOU! What we are going to discover here is how it is possible to be in the driving seat of your own life. Anything can happen with some planning and a healthy dose of determination!
Oftentimes when I write, I feel the best policy is to get out of my own way and allow whatever needs to be said to pass through my fingers to the keyboard. This was one such occassion. I can't claim any personal credit for this book, I merely typed it.

Although this book came out in 2017, the cover shot is from four years earlier. I'd met the twins at a youth hostel in Amsterdam. I believe it might have been love (or possibly lust 🤣) at first sight between Mila and me. Mia and I are dressed more like we're the twins! 🤣

I wrote this originally back in 1999, when I still had The Strawberry Crystal, my wholesale company. For the fifteenth anniversary, I updated the book, adding in a new chapter and expanding the directory of crystals a wee bit.
