AUDITIONS!! Time has finally come. I’m so excited to be back leading Deal Theatre. We had so much success last year and this year looks like it’s going to be even bigger.
Requirements: 90 seconds Shakespeare monologue. PLEASE be familiar with the text. Memorization is strongly encouraged (yes, you can hold your paper).
Every character can be any gender or any race/ethnicity.
I personally would love for folks to use a R&J monologue, however if you have a great memorized monologue from another Shakespeare show go for it.
If auditioning for Romeo or Juliet please understand these characters will have to hug and hold hands. If you aren’t comfortable with that it’s okay, but maybe other characters fit you better.
Not everyone will be called back. If you are not called back IT DOES NOT mean you aren’t cast. Please do not email me if you are not called back. I will try to cast this show ASAP. There will be understudies and an understudy show.
