How do we pay the cost to make the vodcast?
The Deaf Alcoholic Vodcast is fully self-supporting. Funding for the ASL Vodcast is the responsibility of our team. In keeping with the Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous, we request voluntary Seventh Tradition contributions from the Fellowship and do not accept funds from any non-AA sources.
AA Access Committees, Districts, and groups may also provide Deaf Alcoholic Vodcast scholarships to help support this work.
Funds are used to:
Hire professional interpreters to copy-sign each story in ASL
Contract with a Deaf production company to create a DeafBlind-accessible plain English visual descriptive transcript
The average total cost per video is $185.

If possible, please consider supporting our efforts with a Seventh Tradition contribution. We also invite groups and service bodies to consider adding the Deaf Alcoholic Vodcast to theirSeventh Tradition distribution pie chart and creating a “Purple Can” Seventh Tradition contribution can for your home group.
