The Deaf Alcoholic Vodcast is fully self-supporting. Funding for the ASL Vodcast is the responsibility of our team. In keeping with the Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous, we rely on voluntary Seventh Tradition contributions from the Fellowship and do not accept financial support from any non-AA sources.
AA Access Committees, Districts, groups, and individual AA members may also provide Deaf Alcoholic Vodcast scholarships to help support this work.
Contributions help cover the cost of:
Hiring a professional Deaf interpreter to copy-sign each story in ASL.
Contracting with a Deaf-owned production company to create a DeafBlind-accessible, plain-English visual descriptive transcript.
If possible, please consider supporting our efforts with a Seventh Tradition contribution. We also invite groups and service bodies to consider adding the Deaf Alcoholic Vodcast to their Seventh Tradition distribution pie chart and creating a “Purple Can” Seventh Tradition contribution can for your home group.
