We encourage our student to explore their post-secondary school options.
The signing of this verification form allows a student to be excused from school that day.
A parent/guardian is required to contact the school prior to your visit to inform the school that you will be absent.
Juniors and seniors are given 2 college visits per school year.
It is not mandatory, but the student is encouraged to set up post-secondary visits through the counselor's office.
This form must be completed and returned to the school to receive an excused absence.
Failure to have a parent contact the school and/or failure to return this form will result in an unexcused absence.
Students are responsible for letting teachers know the day they will miss and for acquiring any homework that will be missed.
A parent/legal guardian must contact the school secretary the day before your job shadowing to excuse you from school.
Return the completed form to the high school office the day after the shadow experience.
Failure to have a parent call to excuse you and/or failure to return the completed form will result in an unexcused absence.
