The EMTA syllabus covers topics such as “Respond to emergency calls, Patient assessment and triage, Cardiovascular emergency, Cerebrovascular emergency, Obstetrics & gynecology, Behavioral emergency, Respiratory emergency, Manage injuries to the head and spine, bleeding and shock, Transport the patient to other hospital, Bio medical waste management, infection control and prevention, Computer skills, Soft Skill and Communication”.Students are capable to do Endotracheal Intubation, Good quality CPR and airway management for adults and children, ECG interpretation, Trauma care and management, Intravenous cannulation, Inserting Nasogastric tube, Foleys catheterization, Parenteral route of drug administration, Specially trained in transporting the patient suspecting head and spine injury with Spine board, Scoop structure and Head immobilizer and experts in all other medical procedures
