Debasis Dash Lab

DD lab is interested in using computational approaches for mining omics data to understand biological function. We work on big data and AI, development of tools and algorithms for proteomics and creation of data model for genotype-phenotype correlation. Our group is proficient in handling high-throughput next-generation sequencing data, analysis of mass spectrometric data, developing mass spectrometry-based proteomics algorithms, proteogenomics for novel protein-coding gene finding, and machine learning approach for image processing. We have developed several tools and algorithms such as GenoCluster, PLHost, Pro-Gyan, MassWiz, Proteostat, Genosuite, EuGenosuite and many more.

Debasis Dash, PhD, is chief scientist and professor at Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology in New Delhi.

The DD Lab works on scientific bottlenecks that, if solved, can provide keys toward larger problems.

The DD Lab group is made up of postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, project associates, and more.
