In this project, two undergraduate students and myself under the mentorship of Dr. Seshaiyer attempt to create an informative model of the spread of two strains of COVID-19. Our goal is to obtain a basic reproduction number, create an accurate model, and what parameters are necessary to obtain endemic equilibrium under these conditions.

As part of the course requirements for Multidisciplinary Problem Solving and Leadership, a team of 2 graduate students, 1 undergraduate student, and myself from different majors/departments formed a team which seeks to identify causes of trash in local streams and implement a measurable and accessible solution to reduce the stress on water treatment plants and decrease trash in waterways that end up in larger bodies of water.
