Postdoctoral positions
Up to three postdoctoral positions in pure mathematics starting in Fall 2026 are open for applications at the Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland as part of the Dioscuri Centre "Random Walks in Geometry and Topology" led by Mikołaj Frączyk. These are pure research positions with no teaching duties. We are looking for candidates interested in:
• measured group theory,
• discrete subgroups of semisimple Lie groups,
• dynamics of mapping class group actions,
• geometric measure theory.
The salary will be competitive with European postdoctoral salaries and generous travel funds are available.
