I hope everything is going well with fellow DC retirees…
I want to let you know that I am writing a book about my life and biggest part of the book is with DC varsity athletics and work that I was involved in…
Shorter version: THE LONG ROAD TO BELONGING
I’m writing a book about my life and would love to include memories from anyone who crossed paths with me — through sports, work, or our community. Any story, funny or serious, short, or long — I would be grateful if you shared it...
My journey began in a small Bosnian village during the war, continued through Yugoslavia, Austria, and Germany, and eventually brought me to Oshawa — my home for 56 years.
I coached athletes of all ages for over 40 years and worked at Durham College for 32 years, a place that became like a third family.
Today, at 85, I’m enjoying the quiet beauty of Priceville while writing down the long road that brought me here.
You can reply here or message me directly.
Please share this with friends or teammates who aren’t on Facebook.
Thank you for being part of my journey.
