On November 30, 2023 our President, Dr. Danielle Murray provided a presentation with a wide array of instructional tools and methods to help teachers both deepen and accelerate the growth of literacy in students from kindergarten through fifth grade. The foundational principles of this workshop exposed the essential obligations of teachers to deliver instruction that transitions students minds from what they are learning to understanding how their learning works. It was abundantly clear that every activity shifts from rote learning to cognitive growth (and motivated engagement!) in all students. Naturally, there is more in the presentation than one can put into practice the next day, so click here to access the presentation and dig deeper into how you can help your students!
