Commanding Officer (CO)
* Commands and controls the company.
* Executes instructions from the Senior Naval Science Instructor (SNSI) or Naval Science Instructor (NSI).
* Disseminates information/issues orders.
* Exercises command through the chain of command.
* Inspects and follows-up on instructions.
* Accepts responsibility for all unit actions.
Executive Officer (XO)
* Performs duties directed by CO.
* Acts as CO in his/her absence.
Operations Officer
* Coordinate all scheduled Unit activities to ensure that the events happen according to plan.
* Maintain the Plan of the Week.
* Assist the SNSI/NSI in planning for field trips and all other Unit events.
* Coordinate community service projects and events.
* Maintain records of events the Unit participated in during the school year, a number of cadets who participated, community service hours, and a historical file of event information such as direction, travel time, transportation arrangements, chaperones’ names and other relevant information for future planning.
* Obtain and coordinate all necessary information (e.g. signatures, emergency numbers, etc.) for permission slips and participation rosters; submit to the SNSI.
Platoon Commander
* Responsible for all platoon activities.
* Sets the standard and direction of the platoon.
* Communicates company commander’s intent and empowers squad leaders to act appropriately to accomplish the mission.
* Insures Cadet compliance with policies and procedures of the program.
* Enforce standards.
* Disseminates information from the company chain of command and issues orders.
* Responsible for the training and personal development of the platoon members.
Platoon Chief
* Performs duties directed by the Platoon Commander.
* Acts as Platoon Commander in his/her absence.
Supply Officer
* Coordinates for, receives, distributes and controls supplies and equipment for company training.
* Conducts inventories and maintains a continuous working knowledge of on hand supplies and equipment within the company.
Supply Assistant
* Performs duties directed by Supply Officer.
* Acts as Supply Officer in his/her absence.
Admin Officer
* Provides administrative support for the company.
* Prepares and maintains unit strength reports, rosters and records.
* Responsible for company bulletin boards and photo displays.
* Plans, organizes and supervises the execution of company awards ceremonies, change of command ceremonies, commissioning ceremonies and social events.
Admin Assistant
* Performs duties directed by Admin Officer.
* Acts as Admin Officer in his/her absence.
Public Affairs Officer (PAO)
* Responsible for enhancing the relationship between the surrounding communities to include campus staff and faculty, public information internal information, community relations, written publications, photographs and related duties as required.
* Specifically responsible for the written material, consolidation and publication of the company's written articles.
* Serves as a focal point for local advertising of the program.
* Serves on event staff for planning and conducting battalion training events.
Command Master Chief
* Supervise and be the “expert reference” for all Unit ceremonies.
* Initiate and maintain a current roster of all Cadets in the Unit and their assigned position.
* Take part in staff meetings to represent the views of the Cadet rank and file to staff.
* Determine Cadet concerns and make these known to the staff at the appropriate time.
* Carry out such other duties as may be assigned by the SNSI/NSI/CO/XO.
* Supervise the Company’s Senior and Chief Petty Officers.
* Supervise the Company’s 1st Lieutenants in the performance of their duties.
* Lead by example, and be involved.
Armory Officer
* Maintain the armory.
* Fix any items that break.
* Keep an inventory list of all items in the armory.
Academic Team Commander
* Establish, publish, and hold a regular schedule of training sessions.
* Nominate qualified Cadets to take part in competitions.
* Establish and maintain team assignments to support the best training and competitiveness of the teams.
* Maintain a file of material that will assist cadets in preparing for tests.
* Ensure the PAO is provided with information concerning activities of teams so that press coverage can be obtained.
Drill Team Commander

The anchor is placed on the left side of the cap. It is placed 2" from the center crease and 1 1/2" from the bottom of the cap.
Only chiefs and officers wear their rank on the cap. This is placed on the right side and is 2" from the center crease and 1 1/2" from the bottom.
