Daviess County Friends for Animals (DCFFA) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit charity organized and run by people who volunteer their time for the dogs and cats of our community. DCFFA is located in Washington, Indiana. Our organization promotes spaying and neutering pets to help control the pet population and keep animals from filling our shelters. We help with local adoptions and educate about animal health and the importance of heartworm prevention, rabies shots, etc.
Mission Statement
It is the mission of Friends For Animals to reduce the number of unwanted and uncared for animals in our community through our spay and neuter program; to provide for animals in need and to place them with loving, forever homes; to advocate on behalf of animals in crisis; and to promote the health and care of animals through our education and outreach programs.

"Hear our humble plee for our friends the animals. Especially for animals who are suffering; for any that are hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry; for all that must be put to death, we entreat for them all with mercy and pity, and all those who deal with them, we ask a heart of compassion and gentle hands and kindly words. Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals and so to share the blessings of the merciful."
