CAPDL Code of Conduct
CAPDL Code of Conduct
**Capital Age Players and Diaper Lovers Code of Conduct**
Capital Age Players and Diaper Lovers (CAPDL) is a private group for age players of all kinds, big, little, friends, and curious folk focused on the DC/Maryland/Virginia region. We aim to create a safe and inclusive environment to meet and build a support system of peers and members of the ABDL community.
Events and the server are open to kink-minded adults regardless of relationship status, familial status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity/gender expression, race, color, national origin, religion, personal appearance, socio-economic status, disability, age, genetic information, or source of income. Our events and server are focused on welcoming newcomers to the community and creating a space for existing members to socialize.
By joining the CAPDL Discord or attending a CAPDL event, you agree to all rules, policies, terms and conditions, and represent that you have read the applicable rules thoroughly, understand them, and will adhere to them, before, during, and after attending CAPDL events, or joining the server.
You understand that failure to abide by the rules, or advocating for or encouraging any prohibited behavior will result in consequences deemed appropriate by group leaders. CAPDL leaders reserve the right to take any and all action deemed appropriate and proportionate to the situation, as well as the right to modify and update this Code of Conduct as needed. Updates will be announced to the group.

You must be at least 18 years of age or older to attend any events or participate in this server.
All NSFW content should be posted in the appropriate channel.
No visual or written depictions of minor persons.
Respect others. This means no toxic or disruptive behavior, including harassment, insults, bullying, and misinformation. This includes no unwanted sexual attention, such as but not limited to, jokes of a sexual nature, pressure or coercion to engage with someone sexually or to play, or unwelcome advances (please see the Consent Policy below).
Accept others. Our group will not tolerate discrimination based on relationship status, familial status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity/genderexpression, race, color, national origin, religion, personal appearance, socio-economic status, disability, genetic information, or source of income of any kind. Affinity or focus group postings are excluded from this rule. This includes slurs of any kind, such as negative terms to describe traits of the above. Address others by their preferred name and pronouns, ask if you are unsure. Respect other participants and how they identify in the community - such as bigs, littles, pets, handlers, etc.
Respect personal boundaries and privacy. Do not pressure others for personal information they are not willing to share. Do not purposefully out others, such as revealing personal information about others in the community.
No unsolicited DMing. Do not harass users via DM. Do not parse the user list and send DMs. DMing is only allowed after having an interaction with someone and with that person’s consent. Admins reserve the right to DM users as necessary for group business.
**EVENT RULES (applies to all CAPDL events)**
All applicable server rules apply to CAPDL events, with the addition of the below.
You must be 18 years of age or older to attend events or the age of entry for the location of the event (e.g. 21 for most bars in DC).
Be respectful of the public. This includes no public displays of nudity or kink, and wearing ABDL/kink attire only in appropriate event spaces. You must also be mindful of the conversations you are having to not expose non-community members to ABDL/kinks. Respect and do not harass members of the public.
Maintain event privacy, even for events in public spaces. Do not attempt to discover more about event locations, activities, or people in order to expose this information publicly.
No disruptive behavior, rowdiness, vandalism, excessive drunkenness or substance use, or any other disrespect towards attendees, venues and events, or restaurant and bar staff.
No inappropriate physical contact. This is defined as any contact that did not have prior consent or continues after a request to stop, and includes hugging, kissing, backrubs, squeezing, etc. This also includes standing too close to an individual, with the exception of crowding on a busy night, which is determined by the individual.
Do not photograph or record attendees without prior consent of everyone involved. This includes selfies, photos, or video of or with attendees (even in the background). Attendees found to be violating this will be required to delete all content in addition to the consequences listed above. In general, try not to take pictures within the venue unless in an explicitly designated (with signage) photo area.
No smoking, vaping, or illegal drug use is allowed within the event building or within 25 feet of the entrances.
YOU MUST ABIDE BY ANY AND ALL ADDITIONAL EVENT-SPECIFIC RULES AS STATED BY EVENT ORGANIZERS. THIS INCLUDES RESTRICTIONS AROUND DEFECATION, SEXUAL ACTIVITIES, NUDITY, DRESS CODE, OR PHOTOGRAPHY.
**CONSENT POLICY (applies to all CAPDL events)**
These consent practices must be followed at CAPDL events. Source: https://ncsfreedom.org/key-programs-2/consent-counts/
“Consent” means a person’s willingness and ability to engage in a specific act. Consent is the creation of an agreement with all individuals saying “YES!” not just the absence of “No.”
Do not touch anyone without their permission, and don’t base your consent on what you’ve seen someone do with other people.
All activities must receive prior explicit verbal or written consent rather than through gestures, body language, or past behavior.
Informed consent requires discussing the risks involved in the activity and steps needed to reduce those risks, including study, training, technique, and safety measures.
Don’t re-negotiate in the middle of your scene unless it is to reject activities that were previously agreed to. A person who is in an altered state of mind of any kind, including play-induced headspace, may not be able to give informed consent.
The universal safewords are “RED” and “SAFEWORD.” Everyone is free to withdraw consent at any time during the activity. At the use of either of those words, the activity must end immediately.
Do not attempt to participate in an ongoing scene unless invited explicitly by all current participants.
If you plan to engage in play that may have the appearance of being non-consensual, inform the staff before the beginning of the scene.
Each person should understand everyone’s limitations or barriers to their ability to consent to the planned activities, such as age, mental capacity, or use of drugs or alcohol. If any participant in a scene appears intoxicated or impaired, the staff will stop the scene.
Do not pressure, force, coerce, or manipulate someone into consenting to anything.
Do not do anything likely to result in serious bodily injury or go beyond a participant’s expectations, even where the participant gave consent.
**TERMS & CONDITIONS (applies to all CAPDL events)**
Indemnification. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold the organizers, staff, volunteers, employees, officers, directors, and agents harmless from any and all damage (whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or otherwise), loss, liability, cost and expense (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys' and accounting fees) resulting from any claim, demand, suit, proceeding (whether before an arbitrator, court, mediator or otherwise) or investigation made by any third party (each a "Claim") relating to or arising out of:
your breach of the code of conduct or rules (including any terms or agreements or policies incorporated into those terms or other policies we post or make available);
your breach of any applicable local, state, national or other law, rule or regulation or the rights of any third party; provided that this indemnification will not apply to the extent that the Claim arises out of the organizers’ gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The organizers will provide notice to you of any such Claim, provided that the failure or delay by the organizers in providing such notice will not limit your obligations hereunder except to the extent you are materially prejudiced by such failure.
**Disclaimer of Warranties and Assumption of Risks by You**
To the extent permitted by applicable laws, the events are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. CAPDL and the organizers expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, title, non-infringement and fitness for a particular purpose. For example, we make no warranty that the events (or any portion of them) will meet your requirements or expectations; or the events will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
You acknowledge that CAPDL and the organizers have no control over and do not guarantee the quality, safety, accuracy or legality of any event or information associated with an event, the truth or accuracy of any information provided by others. CAPDL and the organizers have no responsibility to you for, and hereby disclaims all liability arising from, the acts or omissions of any third parties. You understand and agree that some events may carry inherent risk, and by participating in those events, you choose to assume those risks voluntarily. For example, some events may carry risk of illness, bodily injury, disability, or death, and you freely and willfully assume those risks by choosing to participate in those events. The foregoing disclaimers apply to the maximum extent permitted by law. You may have other statutory rights. However, the duration of statutorily required warranties, if any, will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
**Limitation of Liability**
To the extent permitted by applicable laws, or as otherwise set forth herein, CAPDL and the organizers, will not be liable to you or any third party, for:
any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, opportunity costs, intangible losses, or the cost of substitute services (even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages).
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit any condition, warranty, right or liability which may not be lawfully excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or conditions or the limitation or exclusion of liability for loss or damage caused by willful acts, negligence, breach of contract or breach of implied terms, or incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, only those liability and other limitations which are lawful in your jurisdiction (if any) will apply to you and our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
**Release**
You agree to release CAPDL and the organizers from all damages (whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or otherwise), losses, liabilities, costs and expenses of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of a dispute between you and a third party (including other attendees) in connection with any CAPDL event. In addition, you waive any applicable law or statute, which says, in substance: "A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE RELEASING PARTY DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH IF KNOWN BY HIM MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS SETTLEMENT WITH THE RELEASED PARTY."
