Tarlac City, Philippines — June 26, 2026.
The Don Bosco Tarlac Administration, led by its Economer Fr. Jojo Valenzuela, SDB, met with the Mapalacsiao Tarlac Transport Cooperative (MTTC) headed by Chairman Mr. Ferdinand Aquino last Friday at the Cresendo Campus.
The dialogue served as a platform for jeepney drivers to voice their concerns regarding student transport, while reaffirming the school’s commitment to ensuring the safe and reliable shuttle service for Senior High School students.
Fr. Valenzuela emphasized Don Bosco Tarlac’s dedication to fostering strong community partnerships, noting that the collaboration with MTTC drivers is vital in maintaining student welfare and safety. “Our students’ journey to and from school must always be secure. Working hand-in-hand with our transport partners ensures that commitment,” he said.
Mr. Aquino, representing the jeepney drivers, expressed appreciation for the school’s openness to listen and address operational challenges. He assured that the MTTC remains steadfast in supporting Don Bosco’s mission by upholding discipline and safety standards in their daily service.
The meeting concluded with both parties agreeing to continuous coordination, highlighting the shared responsibility of the school and transport sector in safeguarding the Bosconian community.
