"PROMOTED: PROBLEM-SOLVING E MODELLISTICA MATEMATICA: APPROCCI DIDATTICI CON TECNOLOGIE DIGITALI" is a professional development program devoted to Italian teachers who teach mathematics at secondary schools. The project is founded by Fondazione Lincei per la scuola.

Methexis is a multidisciplinar research project which involves four departments (Mathematics, Computer Science, Architecture and Design) within the prison "San Vittore". The purpose is understanding and fostering well-being among and between inmates, agents, educators and the administration. To that end, Methexis carries out four types of activities: 1) on the space, 2) on the people, 3) on the knowledge, and 4) on the system.
The project is founded by Polisocial Award 2023.
"Matematica per la tecnica" is a professional development program devoted to Italian teachers who teach mathematics at technical secondary schools. The project is founded by Fondazione Lincei per la scuola through the Ministery program PNSD (national program for digital school). The program is meant as a pilot project delivered fully online with the purpose of improving the use of digital resources and real-world problems in the classroom.

This workshop is devoted to secondary school students who want to approach the university. The workshop aims at preparing students to face the Engineering program admission test. The workshop is composed of three parts: one concerns the general structure of the test, the other two concern the disciplinary aspects and how to exploit the educational resources to study maths and physics.
"MxSMatematica per Scenari" is the MOOC for teachers that aims at introducing mathematical modelling and problem solving at high school by real-world scenarios. The course is available on www.pok.polimi.iit
In the last months, teaching practices have been changing due to the health emergency. Worldwide, the universities have reacted migrating their in-presence lectures to online activities. This project aims at studying how this transition (in any) occurred and how instructors adapt to the new format.

In the last years, we have designed and carried out a different format of a flipped classroom in mathematics for STEM students at Politecnico di Milano. We resort in socrative, an educational platform, for delivering activities and monitoring the class.
This is one of the main project of my PhD. With this projects the classic opinion dynamics model (e.g. Bounded confidence) is plugged with the "I can-You can" educational framework. In this way we describe and somehow predict the student iteration during group work activities. The mathematical tool can be used for teacher training since it is able to show how students react teacher intervention.
This project is part of the innovative education project of Politecnico di Milano
With this project, bachelor engineering students are exposed to self-oriented activities concerned Ordinary Differential Equations and their applications. The set of materials is composed of the MOOC EDO101 (intro), and quizzes delivered through Socrative.
MOOCs are new innovative educational methodologies that have been spread worldwide in the last decade. With a team of Politecnico di Milano, and Professor Giulio Magli, we developed and produced the first Italian Mathematics MOOC: Pre-Calculus. The course, accessible from www.pok.polimi.it, recap and recall the essential mathematics of high school useful to attend the first year of STEM programs. Watch the intro
This project aims to understand how high school teacher and instructor exploit instructional videos to design flipped classroom. Further info
MathInside has the purpose of bringing network analysis in high school classes. It is composed of two modules. One lesson to introduce the networks and one laboratory to analyse them. The project was in collaboration with Museo Nazionale della scienza e della tecnologia Leonardo Da Vinci.
The project aims to bring mathematical modelling in high school. The students who attend the workshop (4 days) are asked to resort their mathematical competencies and skills to solve a real-life problem. The laboratory promotes the knowledge sharing through the teamwork. Further info
The laboratory has the purpose of revealing the mathematics used by some software used for CAD and image processing. Further info
