2022 Percussion Camp and Rehearsals

Blazer Band Percussion

The following dates and times are for those students participating in the percussion/drumline sections for the 2022 Marching Season. All students are required, expected, and highly encouraged to attend the following rehearsals dates. We will use this time to develop fundamentals, work on warm-ups, learn and memorize the show music, and learning to work together as a team! If a student can not attend certain dates, communication with Ms. Williams in a timely manner is to be expected. You may reach her via email at williams1@wcde.org.

Students are required to attend the following percussion/drumline camps

May 17th-19th 3:30-5:30

June 14th-16th 2:00-5:00

July 11th-15th 10:00-5:00 ( Percussion/Drumline Camp)

Students need the following items while attending the camps:

● Sticks/Mallets (recommendations are available upon request)

● Practice Pad

● Pencil

● Highlighters

● Positive Attitude

● Great Work Ethic

Please ensure students wear tennis shoes during all camps as we will go over marching techniques as well. Sunscreen, a hat, and water are also highly encouraged.
