ABOUT CONNECT E-SPORTS

ABOUT DAVID'S PLACE
David's Place is a program at Daybreak, a shelter for vulnerable and homeless youth. David's Place provides outreach and support for LGBTQ youth, including those who are homeless and those at risk of homelessness. David's Place is an inclusive, safe place that provides LGBTQ-inclusive education and programming, individual counselling and group support, meals, personal care, hygiene items, and free contraceptives, wi-fi and computer access, and referrals for other assistance and services.

ABOUT DAYBREAK DROP-IN CENTER
Daybreak’s Drop-In Center serves youth ages 18 to 24 who are couch-hopping, in danger of losing housing, living on the street, or staying in an adult shelter. Daybreak provides these youth with food, clothing, a place to shower and do laundry, hygiene items, access to the internet and phones, and case management while helping them find a safe place to live.

Available for use whenever the facility is open. To use a computer, Sinclair Students/Faculty/Staff can simply walk up to an unoccupied PC, and log in using your My.Sinclair username and password. If you are not a current student, or are a member of the community, there are Guest Computers available. See an IT staff member at the Service Desk to get a guest pass. They are 2 hour use per day. In addition there are a number of FLEX computers that have special software loaded on them for certain classes.

Guests can self-register for free, unencrypted wifi access using this link. Self-registered accounts provide a network password good for 16 hours and are renewable up to four times.
University of Dayton's Roesch Library is open to university students and employees as well as the public. University members have access to computers, printing services, faxing and scanning services, technology support, and university digital resources. Guests can use public wifi and have access to guest computers on the library first floor.

Visitors not currently affiliated with the University of Dayton are limited to the two visitor computers on the first floor. Visitors engaged in library research have priority on these computers.
In addition to Internet access, the computers have access to most of the library's research databases, government websites and other resources available from the library website. Access to databases and e-resources from outside the library is not available to visitors due to licensing agreements.
Library is open 24 hours/day for University Members, and during standard business hours for guests.
ABOUT WESTSIDE MAKERSPACE
As one of the first makerspaces in the country with Black founders, WMS offers an alternative space, culture, and practice for youth and adults in the West Dayton community to train for in-demand industries and build their own businesses.
