1. About These Terms
These Terms govern your use of Daydrop (the "App"), provided by Flowbit Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). Please read them before using the App. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Contact: flowbitlabs@gmail.com.
2. The App
Daydrop is a personal diary for saving text, dates, tags, and selected photos. It includes tools to browse and search entries and to export or import compatible ZIP backups. Your diary is stored locally on your device. No Daydrop account or sign-in is required, and the App does not provide a developer-operated diary cloud synchronization service or a public social network.
3. Eligibility
The App is intended for users aged 14 and older and is not directed to children under 14. If you are a minor under the laws that apply to you, obtain a parent or guardian's permission where required.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of the diary entries and photos you add. You authorize the App to process them on your device to provide its features and to create a backup when you request one. This does not give us ownership of your content or permission to publish it. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to the content you use and for respecting other people's privacy.
5. Acceptable Use
Use the App lawfully. Do not attempt to compromise its security, distribute malicious files through backup functions, infringe intellectual property rights, or interfere with third-party services. These restrictions do not limit activities expressly permitted by applicable law.
6. Storage, Backups, and Deletion
You are responsible for keeping copies of records you want to preserve. Device loss, app removal, clearing app storage, device problems, or damaged backup files can cause data loss. We do not keep a server copy of your diary and cannot recover records that are no longer available on your device or in your backups.
Exported ZIP files contain your diary content and photos and are not password-protected or encrypted by Daydrop. Store them securely. A storage location you choose in the Android file picker can be a local location or a third-party cloud provider. That provider's terms and privacy policy apply to its handling of your files.
Deleted entries can remain available for recovery for 30 days. The App processes expired trash during later app loading or saving; this is not a guarantee of secure erasure at a specific time. Associated local photo files can remain until app storage is cleared or the App is uninstalled. Copies you exported, original photos outside the App, and device or cloud backups must be managed separately. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Advertisements and Third-Party Services
Daydrop integrates Google AdMob for native advertisements. Ad availability varies by app version and configuration. Advertisements and linked websites are provided by third parties; displaying an advertisement is not an endorsement. Google Play also provides app distribution, update, and review features. Third-party services are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
In-app purchases are planned but are not currently enabled. If paid features are introduced, purchases will be processed through Google Play Billing. The product, price, payment conditions, and any renewal terms will be presented before you purchase. No specific paid product or subscription is currently offered. Applicable Google Play payment and refund rules and your mandatory consumer rights will apply.
8. Intellectual Property
Except for your content and third-party materials, rights in the App's code, design, and branding belong to Flowbit Labs or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the App for its intended personal diary functions, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
9. Availability and Changes
We may fix bugs, update features, or discontinue support. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device or future operating system. Keep an independent backup of important content. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected here with an updated date and, where legally required, additional notice or consent.
10. Disclaimers and Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or meet every purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights or responsibility for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
11. Ending Use
You can stop using the App at any time. Uninstalling it or clearing its storage affects local content as described above. Clauses that by their nature should continue, including ownership and applicable legal protections, continue after use ends.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, subject to mandatory consumer protections and other non-waivable rights under the laws that apply to you. Disputes are handled by courts with jurisdiction under applicable law.
