I created the original concept for Barbershop and designed its core gameplay loop. The game was inspired by the fast-paced and accessible structure of games such as Overcooked, adapted to the setting of running a barbershop.
My goal was to create an experience that was easy to understand but challenging to master. Players could quickly learn the basic actions, while increasingly demanding customers, time pressure, and the need to manage multiple tasks gradually raised the difficulty.
I designed the mechanics around clear player goals, readable feedback, and a steady learning curve. New challenges were introduced gradually, allowing players to learn through play before combining their skills in more demanding situations.

Alongside my design work, I coordinated our four-person team. I defined the project scope, created and assigned tasks, monitored progress and deadlines, and maintained clear communication throughout development.
