KASUROG SA PAGLAOM strarted as post- response to the aftermath of the tropical storm "Kristine" which the initiative aims to help students and families in the neighboring communities recover from the devastation of the natural disaster.
Now, this initiative will be transformed into a broader program as a long-term plan and strategy for disaster response in the future.

We are servant-leaders, indeed a true KASUROG SA PAGLAOM!
The Dawani Student Core Group now concludes its Kasurog Sa Paglaom, an initiative that aims to help communities rise and recover through foods and relief distribution efforts along with its partner organizations and volunteers.
From October 23 to November 2, 2024, the effort reached and helped three (3) communities including the stranded students at CBSUA, residents of barangay Fabrica, Bula, Camarines Sur, and residents of barangay San Jose, Minalabac, Camarines Sur. Through the donation drives, more than ₱11,300 were raised and utilized from cash and inkind donations. Throughout the efforts, hot meals, food packs, clothes, medicines, Hygiene kits, and other essentials were distributed to those in need.
