Cambridge Early Years to Cambridge Advanced

The school buzzed with excitement as it hosted the grand Club Expo presented by Cambridge learner’s alongside a festive Diwali Mela, the Term 1 result and Blood Donation Camp organized by the interact club of the school. All details and schedules were communicated well in advance to parents via official invitations and broadcasted messages, ensuring a seamless and well-attended event.

The school premises wore a festive look as families enjoyed the colorful Diwali Mela, celebrating community spirit and joyful festivities. Parents also collected their wards' Term 1 Report Cards, interacting with teachers to review academic progress and holistic growth. Demonstrating social responsibility, the school organized a Blood Donation Camp, where enthusiastic parents, staff, and visitors generously contributed to a life-saving cause.

The Club Expo was visited by Principal of the Mrs. Rashmi Raj Biswal, Cambridge Coordinator, Mrs. Jyotsana Kumar, school incharges, and parents, who were deeply impressed and warmly appreciated the students' creativity, confidence, teamwork, and innovative thinking.

The Media & Journal Club, titled “Voices Unfiltered,” offered an interactive journey into digital media and journalism, featuring activities such as QR code storytelling, headline analysis, multi-perspective image interpretation, real versus fake news verification, and an Instagram post standee.

In the Fun Games Club, “BrainBuzz: Where Learning Meets Play!”, parents and children connected through exciting challenges like State Sprint, Science Sleuths, Brand Boli, Emoji Algorithm, and Filmy Fun, blending logical thinking, problem-solving, and communication.

The Literary & Communication Club, under the theme “Where Words Come Alive,” brought literature to life through a dramatic adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Seven Deadly Sins, a Human Library featuring author meetups, and creative exercises on six-word stories and figures of speech.

Younger students also made remarkable contributions across several developmental areas. Early Years learners displayed creative projects across core learning components, including literacy, mathematics, creative expression, personal-social development, physical growth, and understanding the world.

The Class I & II Club Expo nurtured curiosity and moral values through Seeds of Goodness short dramatizations on National heroes like Rani Lakshmi Bai and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, heartwarming presentations on farmers titled The Journey of the Golden Grain, and hands-on scientific experiments in the Curious Minds corner.

Exploration, scientific inquiry, and social responsibility were further highlighted by the remaining clubs. The Travelloggers Club showcased student-designed vacation brochures, handmade passports, explorer kits, and informative posters raising awareness about travel scams and safety.

The STEM Mission, themed “From Curiosity to Discovery,” presented mathematical applications like working clinometers and Pi approximation models alongside sustainable science projects including energy-efficient roadways, fog harvesting, smart greenhouses, and live photosynthesis investigations.

Finally, the Awareness Alliance empowered visitors with essential life skills through food adulteration skits highlighting FSSAI standards, nutritional label decoding, responsible waste management practices, specialized ambulance displays, and critical emergency number awareness. Overall, the Club Expo beautifully reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing curious, responsible, and creative global citizens.

From academic excellence and creative expression to festive joy and civic duty, the day beautifully reflected the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing curious, responsible, and empathetic global citizens.

Special Assembly  Celebration of Raksha Bandhan & Janmashtami on August 27,2026

​D.A.V. Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave, Cambridge International hosted a vibrant  assembly celebrating Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami on  August 27, 2026 in the school auditorium. The event began with Class VI presenting the Thought of the Day alongside National and International news updates.

​A major highlight was the Class VI skit, "One Thread, Many Bonds: From Tradition to Transformation," where six class students beautifully illustrated how a thread symbolizes protection across mythology, history, nature, and the armed forces. Class VII students deepened the festive spirit through a Janmashtami presentation featuring a skit on Lord Krishna's timeless teachings, shloka recitations, a poem titled 'Natkhat Kanha', a solo dance, and a soulful Bhajan session.

​The programme was honoured by  the presence of the Principal –Ms Rashmi Raj Biswal, Cambridge Coordinator Ms Jyotsna Kumar and Cambridge  parents as special guest. The Principal joined the traditional Jhula Sewa for Lord Krishna, offering Prasad and seeking blessings from Ladoo Gopal Ji while singing soulful bhajans. Students joyfully celebrated Janmasthami with energetic group dances and shared holy Prasad. Following the auditorium program, students from Pre-Primary to Class X visited the Science Park for Vriksha Bandhan, tying sacred threads around tree trunks to honour nature's life-sustaining protection. The assembly successfully united cultural heritage, environmental consciousness, and community spirit.

On 28th July 2026, D.A.V. Pushpanjali -Cambridge Wing School” won  1st Prize at the Inter-School Dance Competition held at Manasvsthali School, Rajendar Nagar.

The Theme was Indo-Japan/Mexico Cultural Fusion Our class 5 students showcased such an energetic performance on stage. 

15 schools participated. Our students impressed everyone with their graceful fusion of Indian classical dance and Japanese elements.

Enhancing Learning with Expert Guidance from

Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave, Cambridge, Delhi, recently hosted Ms. Barbara Miller, Cambridge Teacher Trainer and an expert in educational management; and Ms. Neha Chauhan, Academic Head, Cambridge International Education, South Asia, for a comprehensive educational visit. The guests were accorded a warm reception by the school leadership. The visit commenced with a heartfelt welcome where the Principal, Mrs. Rashmi Raj Biswal, and Cambridge Coordinator, Ms. Jyotsna Kumar, presented planters to the guests as a symbol of continuous growth. Students from Classes VI and VII presented a lyrical ballad in French on France's culture and language. A guided tour of the campus was conducted by Titiksha & Chaitanya, Student Representatives from IGCSE. Ms. Barbara Miller conducted an enlightening session for IGCSE students focusing on the critical value of Social Sciences in the modern world. She discussed how the discipline fosters analytical thinking, empathy, and a deeper understanding of global societal structures, encouraging students to view these subjects as foundational to any future career path. A collaborative session was held with the Global Perspectives’ faculty. The discussion centered on innovative teaching methodologies to build conscious student perspective and highlighted that analytical skills can be effectively nurtured through cause-and-consequence activity, enabling students to examine issues critically, identify underlying causes and evaluate their impacts.  Ms. Barbara Miller expressed her profound appreciation for the school’s academic rigor and student discipline. The visit concluded on a symbolic note with the Vrikshabandhan activity in the Science Park. Everyone tied ceremonial threads to the trees, reinforcing the school’s ethos of environmental stewardship and the "bond of protection" between humans and nature. The school thanks Cambridge Leadership for providing this opportunity of learning and interaction.

On November 13, 2024, our school concluded a vibrant celebration of Japan Month with a SPECIAL ASSEMBLY , EXHIBITION & FORMATION OF HUMAN CHAIN. The event focussed on the contribution of 'K' and 'B' - Kabir and Basho two famous poets of both countries .It also  marked the culmination of month long inter class activities and  celebration dedicated to honoring the cultural ties between India and Japan. 

We were privileged to host Ms. Maho Hakamata,Third secretary ( PR and Culture ) from the Embassy of Japan, whose presence added immense value  to the occasion. With the participation of over two thousand students from across all  classes, the month-long event sought to foster mutual respect, cultural appreciation, and deeper understanding of the unique traditions and philosophies shared by both nations.

Students from class – II greeted the honorable guest in the traditional Indian and Japanese attires. School council heads gave the guests a guided tour, and the students from Cambridge wing showcased an exhibition which focussed on strengthening India- Japan ties and promoting inter-disciplinary learning.

The special assembly opened with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by performances and presentations reflecting both cultures. Fusion dances, recitations of Kabir’s dohas and couplets , and Basho’s 'Haikus'  were the main highlights. The event closed with a human chain demonstration, symbolizing the unity and shared spirit of India and Japan. 

School  extends its  heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Hakamata, students, teachers, and all  participants, and especially the interact club members of the school , whose dedication made this celebration a memorable tribute to the friendship between the two nations.

Throughout Japan Month, students engaged in a range of meaningful activities and all this promoted development of skills and competencies and matched the vision of not only our school but also suits the parameters of today’s globalized world, NEP-2020 & NCF- 2023.

We are pleased to inform that Vanisha Gupta, a student of Class VIII A Cambridge , has qualified for the prestigious Collins SpellBee Competition, National Level which is held every year to recognise hidden talent of genius students who possess a special knowledge of deciphering the spellings of all twisted words, along with knowing the etymology. She appeared for the preliminary rounds conducted in a span of 3 days' online session and a semi-finale round which was held on 24th August. She is going to represent our school and compete with around 12 finalists from all over India on 28th September, 2024.
