Some notable projects in robotic exploration include studies in the Atacama Desert, Chile (LITA) and Tamilipas, Mexico (DEPTHX) and the completed study for Antarctic traverse. I have long been involved in projects with lunar rovers (MoonRanger). Much of my current attention is on science autonomy—enabling robots to guide their own scientific investigations.
