Since 2024, I am member of the Socialdemocratic Party of Germany (SPD) and their youth organisation Young Socialists, for both currently in the local party association in my home town Altenburg/Thüringen. From January to March 2024 I worked in the Bundestag (German Parliament) in the office of MoP Michael Mueller (SPD) in the context of the 'Science meets Politics' program of the Heraeus Foundation.
To balance my other interests, I try to engage in sports: outdoor (hiking, cycling) and swimming. Recently, I participated in an Olympic distance triathlon for the first time. Earlier in my life I used to fence (foil and epee) for SV Einheit Altenburg and later at OFC Munich.
