The purpose of this project was to explore the impact of social media on society.
After taking the "Am I Addicted to social media?" Quiz, I realized I'm not as addicted to social media as I thought. My results stated,
Congratulations! Psychologists estimate that as many as 5 to 10% of Americans meet the criteria for social media addiction today. But luckily, that's not you! Not checking social media every few minutes doesn't make you feel anxious, as you prefer to live in the moment rather than through your apps. You use social media to your advantage, at work and to connect with friends and family, but you know when to put it away. keep it up!
Hearing this, I'd say there is some truths to it. I do use social media to connect and communicate with friends and family members. I feel it's a way for me to socialize with my entourage.

I believe social media's impact on society has had both negative and positive side effect. I have a habit of using social media platforms to reach out to people. I'm able to express myself and connect with friends, colleagues, and family. However, as a student and an employee, there has been times when I overused social media to a point where I forgot I had other important staff that demanded my attention.
I realized I am a good or somewhat decent user of social media. I only use it to my advantage where I'm able to socialize with others.
