"Madres en Plenitud: Apoyando a Madres a Vencer Barreras de Salud" is a project striving to bridge the gap between Hispanic mothers and the healthcare access they deserve. Drawing from my experiences at Riley, the interprofessional clinics, and my own personal journey, I aim to create a resource that simplifies, educates, and empowers. This isn't just about providing information; it's about creating a lifeline for those who have been marginalized, ensuring they receive the care and support essential for their well-being and that of their children.
In doing so, I hope to reflect the values instilled in me by my heritage: a commitment to community, a dedication to service, and a belief in the power of empathy to overcome boundaries. Madres en Plenitud is more than a project; it's a step toward a world where every mother has the support she needs to thrive, a goal I pursue with all my heart.

One of the most effective ways in approaching a multi-faceted problem is a multi-faceted solution. An interprofessional approach to these issues could prove very effective.

An interprofessional clinical approach brings together various medical disciplinary professionals such as primary care providers, nurses, social workers, and counselors, to collaborate in providing comprehensive care for specific needs of each mother.
Interprofessional care can address and combat many common barriers that these mothers can possibly face through holistic efforts and assessments.
