Legend of the Hero Slime is a grid-based action-adventure game where you play as a heroic slime who gains new skills by defeating powerful elemental bosses and solving environmental puzzles. With its charming voxel art style and tactical movement system, the game blends classic dungeon-crawling with creative combat mechanics.
I was the solo developer and designer for Legend of the Hero Slime, responsible for every aspect of the project—from concept and gameplay mechanics to programming, level design, and visual style. While I worked independently, I collaborated with my university supervisor for regular feedback and consulted peers for playtesting and balancing.
The outcome was a fully playable, polished prototype that showcases a unique take on grid-based combat and puzzle-solving. It’s now preparing for a public release on Itch.io, with plans for community-driven updates and potential expansion content based on player feedback.
