Nirvana's remaining members, Krist Novoselic (bass) and Dave Grohl (drums) have gone different directions since the demise of Nirvana. While Grohl has continued his music career, Novoselic has taken a more solitary approach to post-Nirvana.
Krist Novoselic: After speaking in a lot of documentaries and interviews about Kurt's death, Krist started 2 other bands, both releasing one album. He has helped with some Foo Fighters songs. He is also active in his political community, he started JAMPAC. He's married with no kids and currently lives in rural Washington.
Dave Grohl: Dave Grohl is now frontman of the band known as the Foo Fighters. The band has been together for over 20 years, and has released eight full-length studio albums, one being double-album. This does not include a live recorded show, which was titled Skin and Bones and released as an album; as well as a five song EP. Dave has also played with multiple other bands during the Foo Fighters' run, some being Queens of the Stone Age, and Them Crooked Vultures. The ladder band consists of Dave Grohl on drums, Josh Homme on guitar and vocals (of Queens of the Stone Age) and former bassist for Led Zeppelin, John Paul Jones. Even through a recent leg break on Grohl, the Foo Fighters are still touring.
