Ok, so does this mean my account is banned?
Not necessarily! There are a few things you can do to try and resolve the issue with your IP address:
Connect to a different network and attempt to login. Are you using your home WiFi? A public network? Try logging in using a different network, like your mobile network or a different public network.
Turn off your VPN. We know, VPNs are popular security precautions, but alas, they don't play nicely with our platform. Please turn your VPN off and log in again. If you're not sure how to turn your VPN off, you'll find device-specific instructions here.
Don't use a proxy. If you don't know what a proxy is, you're likely not using one.
Contact Support. We're here to help! We'll just need you to check your IP address and include that in your email.

But why was I banned?
If you wish to appeal your ban, you may send us an email but our policy is to not tell people why they were banned. This is to protect the anonymity of the members who may have reported the account, as well as to allow our moderation team to focus on current reports and issues. We will reply to your email if the ban has been reversed and your profile reinstated.

We value diversity and inclusion on the moderation team and have highly trained staff members from a variety of backgrounds with a variety of life experiences that help them make informed decisions.

If your account has been banned or you have had content removed from DateMeDurban, but you do not believe you have violated our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, you can submit an appeal directly through the form linked below.
We'll only review appeals that provide all of the required information and are submitted directly through our linked form or alternatively email datemedurban@outlook.com. If your form or email is incomplete, we will be unable to review or process your application to appeal. Your appeal must be submitted within 6 months of the date of the action you are contesting.
