The municipal data sharing mandate policy hub open reading list

Further Reading / Open Reading List

In the interest of transparency, open research, and good old-fashioned sharing, we're publishing our reading list for this project as we go. From books on smart cities or ownership; to academic journal articles on data and democracy, privacy and platform urbanism; to popular articles on tech regulation or MDS—if it's relevant to municipal data sharing policy we want to read it. And, if we are reading it, we'll share it here.

Check out the open reading list below, and, if you have relevant pieces to add to the list, we'd love your suggestions via our submission form here.

Suggest relevant readings!

We are always open to suggestions for what we should be reading, viewing, listening to, or otherwise checking out to gain a deeper understanding of key topics related to local government data sharing. If you have readings to suggest, please fill out our suggestion form below.

We'd especially love to connect with the authors of relevant research, so if you are the author of a paper or project that you think we might be interested in checking out, please suggest your work below (if it is not already included in our reading list)— and we'd love for you to get in touch via our research interview sign-up form here, or simply by emailing Technology and Public Purpose Fellow Stephen Larrick at stephenlarrick@hks.harvard.edu.
