Cindi proposed to add a clause on exploring relationships between public utility data use vs. privacy; e.g. health company may contribute to cancer cure by publishing data without compromising privacy. Charter clause was modified to:

How do we protect privacy and commit to individual control, transparency, and data minimization without neglecting benefits of public data sharing

• Frequency and rescheduling of meetings

The consensus was to keep the date (second Thursday of month) fixed rather than try to reschedule based on Member's availabilities which would present additional challenges. We will reassess frequency and timing once we have more data -- we are supposed to be data-driven ;)

Team Organization — Relationship between data engineering and data science

Questions to jump start the discussion:

-How to balance data science experimentation and productionalization roles e.g. who productionalizes the data science pipelines. 

-How to organize teams given established portfolios vs. always changing, new initiatives.

-Do product owners and analysts participate in this process?

-How to balance specific end-user product vs. technology platform needs?
