Analytics Tool to Understand COVID-19 Economic Impacts and Evaluate Programmatic Options

Presented by Team Data Fanatics

Our Mission

The City of Seattle seeks to answer the question: “How might we connect existing and new data sources to understand the near- and long-term economic fallout of COVID and identify where interventions could be most effective?” Our team has worked alongside the data and finance teams of Seattle City Light (SCL) to better understand how data from multiple sources can be leveraged to provide a comprehensive view of the economic impacts residents are facing due to COVID-19. The resulting deliverables will assist City Departments when making data-informed decisions, help shape City policies and programs and inform the larger city ecosystem of community-based organizations.
