In this mysterious, incoherent world is a girl, who can’t see her own face, nor hear her own voice.
From the beginning of her consciousness, the one value she knew from her identity was the ability to play the piano… But why?
So many questions go unanswered, so many things are simply connected without much purpose,
leading her to a life of curiosity.
Uncovering one detail at a time, the girl and her shy, caring guardian Rumi travel across a planet of music to learn the real meanings and connections of people and places. Finding close family friends, breaking facades, and learning the truth.

Q: When was this project first created?
A: The Staccato Gardenia Project and character designs were first created in September of 2021.
It started with some very small story concepts and drawings, written and illustrated in a red pocket-sketchbook of mine.
Q: What format of media is Staccato Gardenia?
A: The planned format takes the form of animatic or animated music videos, each song being one the girl has actually played. Ultimately, a music-focused experience.
These "Episodes" will be posted on the Dashy, / ダッシー、Youtube Channel.
It's possible that I may share the storyboards in the form of comics as well.
Q: Is there voice acting/"Can I voice act?"
A: As previously mentioned, Staccato Gardenia is rather music centered. Perhaps, however, someday there may be a case where there actually is voice acting needed for some kind of special episode or something like that. Though it's not an immediate opportunity for the wonderful VA's out there, when the time comes, I'll make some kind of recruitment notice for those of you who remain interested.
Q: Is there any Staccato Gardenia media out right now? if so, what is there?
A: Only concept illustrations or promotional art, besides that are old comics and storyboards,
that can be found in the older version of this page.
Q: Where... is it?
A: Right now, without any YouTube videos, it is pretty hard to find it, and in fact it is impossible to find it under its own name.
At the moment, the most information about the series will be here, on this site. (Discord, Twitter, looking up "dashydesu website"...)
Q: What happened to the old webpage?
A: In the first place, it was redone because much of it's information doesn't line up as much with the current status of Staccato Gardenia. However, it still remains archived, and you can look at it from here.
Q: Credits?
A: All official artwork, sounds, and music used in the project are made by Dashy.
