Aircraft-level performance and safety analysis of electric takeoff and landing (eVToL) aircraft through the use of 6 DoF flight dynamics simulations.
Updated flaperon schedule to obtain 10% lower power in low-speed wing-bourne flight. Resulted in improved climb, acceleration, and glide performance
Obtained aircraft V-speeds and the maximum control surface deflections the aircraft is capable off under constraints of torque and hinge moments.

Undergraduate summer internship students Omar Ibrahim Alfonseca Navarrete and Ernesto Montano Alvares I mentored as part of the ENLACE program presented their work at a poster session.
Pleased to welcome students of the ENLACE program to the LSDO lab. I will be mentoring two students through the summer quarter. We are collaborating with Aurora Flight Sciences to perform V&V of our physics-based software codes and using them to design the PAV eVToL concept.
