American Sign Language (ASL) is a complete, natural language that has the same linguistic properties as spoken languages, with grammar that differs from English. ASL is expressed by movements of the hands and face. It is the primary language of many North Americans who are deaf and hard of hearing and is used by some hearing people as well.
The Nebulanic language has existed for around 200,000 years on the planet Nebulux.
Nebulanic is had started as mainly a written language but has developed to spoken over the years.
Nebulanic is the official language of Nebulux.
Nebulanic is not a gendered language.
Nebulanic was not the first language on Nebulux, first came Sol. This was a similar language to ASL in the way it was entirely body movements. Sol is still taught in schools on Nebulux as an optional credit.
Sol was slowly fased out of society due to cultural advancements.
Nebulanic developed into a spoken language after the Voguer, they never needed sound before but suddenly all they could hear was music or videos from earth and hear people talking.
After the Voguer, Some people discovered they could speak others discovered they can’t hear or have hearing loss because suddenly there was sound on their planet, like their planet is naturally quiet so they don’t recognize background noises
