In December 2023, Linda Garcia joined the Dementia Talks! Alzheimer Society panel for an insightful conversation on research, tips, and experiences around traveling with dementia. The web pages include links to valuable tips and resources for persons living with dementia.
In June 2022, Hanbyoul (Agatha) Park, supported by the DIBS team, created videos offering free training for local businesses to learn about creating a more inclusive environment for individuals living with dementia. Notably, the campaign targeted Business Improvement Areas (neighborhoods in Ottawa, including Wellington West and Orleans) to transform communities and convey the benefits to businesses.

The team developed a collection of teaching video clips in partnership with Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® and Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The scenarios portray situations commonly encountered in an airport when travelers are living with dementia and other forms of brain change.
