About me

Hi! My name is Daphnie Lin, and I am a senior at Newton North High School. I am part of the CAPStone internship program, and will be interning at Cabot Elementary School K-5 working with kids that have special needs. I am shadowing a special education teacher to learn how she interacts with students and communicates with their subject teachers. I chose to intern at Cabot because I attended Cabot Elementary School, and I wanted to see the students’ growing process throughout the year. Seeing the students learn bit by bit everyday is important to me, because I can see how they improve over the course of the semester. In college, I will be majoring in Elementary/Special Education to continue my learning.
