This is my generalist reel! If you are unfamiliar with industry terms, 3D animation has many different steps and roles, and a generalist refers to someone who can do it all. This is not typical, most larger companies expect you to specialize in one role. However, as I try to get into the world of freelancing, I understand that many clients are operating on smaller budgets, and would prefer to hire a generalist. That's why, even though my specialty is animation, I want to be open to doing everything. After all, I did also specialize in 3D Art while studying at Vancouver Film School, and when I went to Emily Carr University of Art and Design, that was a 4 year course and I was able to learn many things. I might as well find a use for it.
