The Supreme Court of The ASMU and Dänsétòuésän
The Supreme Court is the overseeing body of the Micronational Court of Justice (MCJ) and the Micronational Criminal Court (MCC).
The Supreme Court acts as the highest authority and interprets the constitution/charter, along with ensuring that International Court of Justice (ICJ)/International Criminal Court (ICC) rulings comply.
It handles appeals from both MCJ and MCC verdicts, and issues non-binding opinions on legal question or disputes between divisions
Structure: It consists of a Chief Justice, 10 Supreme Judges, Judicial Commissioners and Clerks/Registrars in which decisions are final within the legal system.
Micronational Court of Justice:
The Micronational Court of Justice (MCJ) handles disputes between states, communities, or institutions.
It interprets treaties, agreements, and constitutional questions. It issues advisory opinions on legal matters brought forward by both the government and citizens alike.
It aims to resolve disputes between micronations, government bodies, and treaty-violation cases according to laws set forward by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in Hague.
Structure: It consists of the President, Vice-President, 10 Judges and Clerks/Registrars.
Micronational Criminal Court:
The Micronational Criminal Court (MCC) deals with serious crimes committed by individuals or leaders.
It protects citizens and ensures justice for major violations, it handles cases according to laws set forward by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in Hague.
Crimes of aggression, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and high crimes will be dealt with in the MCC.
Structure: It consists of the Chief Prosecutor, Deputy Prosecutor, 10 Judges, a Defense Counsel and Clerks/Registrars.
