Knowledge Building & Collaborative Technology
Knowledge Building & Collaborative Technology
In today's connected world, we have the perfect opportunity to work collaboratively and become knowledge builders. This knowledge building can take place with colleagues, or in our classrooms. Scardmalia & Bereiter (2014) state that knowledge "...is an emergent collective phenomenon, a distributed characteristic of the entire discipline. And in this sense, the state of knowledge cannot be found in any one person’s mind."(3)
Many modern technologies can support this pursuit. Below is a short video I created on current technology I've found useful for collaboration and knowledge building.
