Econ 145: Data Wrangling for Economists

  • I was hired to help create a new course for the department. The course is meant to teach undergraduate economic students the necessary coding skills to wrangle data. My responsibilities required assisting in developing course material, writing homework assignments, and creating the infrastructure necessary to automatically grade students' code. The infrastructure is designed to integrate into Gradescope. A template can be found on Github. The material is constantly being updated. The infrastructure is being used for Econ 1, Econ 5, and Econ 245 as well.

Econ 245: Data Wrangling for Economists - Ph.D. Level

  • Summer 2021 - Fall 2021

  • A graduate version of Econ 145: Data Wrangling for Economists. I was responsible for hiring and managing four undergraduates, assisting in the organization of the class, managing the production of autograders for Gradescope, and writing homework assignments and guided exercises.
