Rainbow Series

Molly Brown, a 15-year old with a goal of medical school, struggles with normal life as her parents move towards a painful divorce. But, her parents adopt six alien former slaves to help them earn trade so they can go home. When her mother decides she's had enough and returns the slaves, Molly follows them onto a slave ship and starts a healer colony. Her little colony grows into a place of miracles, and soon there are hints that the New Healing is unfolding there on Alb Seer when Fhiah Zheien Colony hosts them. The Rainbow Unwell Colony, named for those original six slaves with skins the colors of the rainbow, gains a king when Molly marries at 18, and soon collects many subcolonies of people from a variety of worlds who can't go home.
