When I decided to run for trustee, I started talking with different community members and leaders to see what their thoughts were on the needs of our community. One conversation with a resident struck a chord with me in that he said that over the years Brimfield has lost some of its unique identity. Some of that identity can be restored with strong leaders that have a vision of uniting our community. Our community's strength is in its residents.
I believe in fiscal responsibility and sustainability. We need to get the most value for the tax dollars that we spend. At the end of the day, the trustees are responsible for the township finances and I believe in being accountable to the community that I represent.
I believe in having strong services like police, fire, roads, and parks. I have been and will be meeting with department heads to learn the challenges and opportunities in each department. Leaders need to be accountable for their respective areas.
I believe in integrity.
I believe in Brimfield.
