The Property Grid was a proposed tool panel for the WPF and Silverlight editing tool, Blend. Designers typically have to resort to a text-based code view when they want to edit differing values across multiple objects. The Property Grid combined a tabular view with various optimized graphical and numerical mini-editors. Designers could, at a glance compare properties and make tweeks to ensure consistency.
"Lath-tree" removes need for horizontal scrolling by left-aligning all object names and using shading to connote hierarchy depth.
Properties can be editing directly in tabular view without having to use heavy-weight Property Panel.
Numerical and graphical properties can be easily compared across multiple objects without having to use code-view.
