I hold a B.A. in Economics from ITESM (Campus Monterrey) and a  Ph.D. in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin. 

My research agenda examines the labor markets of developing countries, with a focus on understanding the distinct characteristics that make these markets unique. By examining these differences, my work aims to generate insights that are relevant to both academic debates and policy design.
