Deuteronomy 4:29-31
Seek God with Your Heart
29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul. 30 When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the LORD your God and obey him. 31 For the LORD your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the
covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath.
Psalm 77:10-12
Meditate on God
10 Then I thought, “To this I will appeal:
the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand.
11 I will remember the deeds of the Lord;
yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
12 I will consider all your works
and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”
Daniel 7:9-10
Daniel Calls God Ancient of Days
9 “As I looked,
“thrones were set in place,
and the Ancient of Days took his seat.
His clothing was as white as snow;
the hair of his head was white like wool.
His throne was flaming with fire,
and its wheels were all ablaze.
10 A river of fire was flowing,
coming out from before him.
Thousands upon thousands attended him;
ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.
The court was seated,
and the books were opened.
Daniel called God, Ancient of Days...He realized God was here long, long before he was...And long ago the Psalmist wrote about the Most High One who stretched out his right hand and created all things...We need to remember the deeds of the LORD; and remember His miracles of long ago...Let us consider all God's works and meditate on all God's mighty deeds...
We should seek God today as Daniel did and the Psalmist did...We should all seek God though our hard times are our troubles times...We should remember that the Psalmist, Daniel, and the many other authors who wrote about God and knew that He was here a long time before us...Seeking and meditating on God is a form of worship, when we seek Him with all of our hearts, all of our minds, and all of our souls...Seeking our Father is part of our daily walk and form of worship and praise for Him...
