Daniel Corks
Assistant Professor
Director of Technology
Welcome to my personal website!
My name is Daniel Corks. I am an assistant professor and the director of technology for SolBridge International School of Business in Daejeon, South Korea. I teach courses about digital technology within the BBA program and I manage various digital technology platforms used by students and faculty. I've previously taught math, language, career development, and critical thinking courses. As an educator, my core competencies are giving deep, thorough explanations; adapting my teaching style to suit even complete beginners by reaching them at their level; and engaging students to make sure what they learn will stick in their minds.
Personally, I love keeping up with news about science, technology, and politics. I try out new software and tear apart old digital hardware for fun. I spend maybe too much time thinking how to make my lifestyle healthier and my environmental impact smaller. I care deeply about fairness and equity. I spent many years researching and writing news articles about various human rights related issues. I'm also deeply connected to South Korea. I've lived in the country for over 15 years, and it's been the site of most of my professional experience.
