Co-Organizer for the Number Theory Lab (2025 - Present)
The Number Theory Lab is a weekly seminar for CSU faculty and graduate students working in number theory. We tend to focus on informal talks, lectures, and reading papers as a group to support participants' research in progress.
Graduate Student Mentor for the Directed Reading Program (2025)
I have participated in the DRP for two semesters. In Fall 2024, I led a project on the p-adic numbers and in Spring 2025, I led a project on Galois theory. I mentored the same student in both semesters, and she has gone on to become a graduate student at CSU!
Co-Organizer for Front Range Number Theory Day (2023 - Present)
FRNTD is a semesterly regional conference supported by number theorists working at CSU and CU Boulder. The conference has taken a small break during the 25-26 academic year, but will hopefully make a return in the near future.
Co-Organizer for LGBTea+ (2023 - Present)
Every semester we host a social gathering for Queer faculty, students, and staff in the math department and their allies. This has been a really rewarding opportunity to build community and celebrate each other's accomplishments!
Student Assistant for the Grinnell Science Project (2019 - 2022)
The Grinnell Science Project is a research-backed orientation program for students from marginalized communities looking to major in the sciences. I participated in the program in 2018 and found it to be hugely impactful. One of my favorite parts of undergrad was working as a mentor for students going through the program in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
Student Leader for the Stonewall Resource Center (2019 - 2022)
While I was an undergrad at Grinnell, I worked as a leader for the college's Queer resource center. I planned campus-wide events, collaborated with administrators, and sat on the college's committee for diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.
