Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a recent Graduate from the University of Dundee, where I studied Digital Interaction Design. In my course, I have been awarded a 2:1 BSc Honours Degree. During my studies I have gained valuable knowledge and skills, which I believe will be very beneficial to your Company. In my four years at the University of Dundee, I have developed my creative and advanced problem-solving skills.

Through various modules and studio work, I can analyse and interpret complex data and present it in a concise way.

I have been able to further my communication and teamwork skills during my degree through group projects and lab work- where regular meetings ensured all members were involved and understood the aims of the group.

While at university I have been able to cope very well when working with fluctuating workloads and I have excellent time keeping when working to strict deadlines.

I previously worked at McDonalds Reform Street in Dundee, as a Crew Member. Although not relevant to the role I am applying for with you, I have managed to develop my interpersonal skills during my time with McDonalds. I pride myself with good customer relations and my work ethic.

I chose to study Digital Interaction Design because I am fascinated in creative industries and how we as people interact with the world around us. During my time at University of Dundee, I was able to further my understanding of this, and using many programs, including those included within Adobe Creative Suite, I was able to process my raw data and output it as information that others could easily understand. My career aim is to help develop new products that will enhance everyday life. I want to challenge the skills and knowledge I have gained and put them to effective use in a competitive and fast-moving industry.

I would love the opportunity to start my career with a company at the forefront of media. This is an endeavour I hope to add my skills to and provide continuing development of the company.

Yours Sincerely,

Daniel Rooney
