The DSA Dance Booster Club was founded in 2022. The Club exists to:
Support, encourage and advance the dance program and related activities of Durham School of the Arts.
Promote projects to improve facilities and equipment necessary to create an adequate dance program for the school.
Parents, guardians, family members, and alumni of DSA are all welcome to participate in Booster Club activities!
The largest part of our work is supporting DSA Dance Department concerts. Some tasks we do are:
Organize volunteers before the show to help with stage decorations, costume embellishment, and providing snacks for rehearsal.
Setting up concert ticket sales in our online system, as well as recruiting volunteers to scan tickets during concerts.
Helping faculty order costumes and accessories.
Organizing spirit wear sales.
The Dance Booster Club Board consists of a president , vice-president, secretary, and treasurer. Board members for 2024-25 are:
